About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join our team at Data Careers. As a Business Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategic solutions that align business objectives with technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Document Business Architectures: Develop comprehensive business architectures that meet strategic and operational goals.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop Architectural Frameworks: Create architectural frameworks that align with both business needs and technological capabilities.
  • Ensure Architectural Integrity: Ensure solutions are delivered with architectural integrity and adhere to best practices.
  • Identify Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert on business architecture, providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • SC Clearance: Possess SC clearance (Security Check) as a requirement.
  • Business Architecture Experience: Demonstrate experience as a Business Architect or in a similar capacity within IT professional services.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of business processes, IT systems, and architectural frameworks.
  • Modeling Experience: Experience producing models using Sparx EA, Bizzdesign, or similar tools.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and proven communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • MOD or Central Government Experience: Experience in projects involving MOD or central government organisations is highly desirable.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or Zachman are advantageous.
