About the Role:
FJN Solutions is seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Claims Handler, you will be the primary point of contact for new claims, existing claims, and claim enquiries from customers and other parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discuss new claims in detail with customers to determine whether cover is in place and either report the claim to the insurer or explain to the customer why they cannot make a claim.
- Develop a strong and in-depth understanding of the different insurance policies and products.
- Manage existing claims through to settlement, liaising with insurers and customers.
- Negotiate with insurers, loss adjusters, and third parties to deliver the best outcome for clients.
- Work closely with the Claims Manager and Risk Management team.
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, brokers, and insurers.
- Remain up to date and follow all regulatory and company legislation and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience working in the insurance industry, preferably within claims.
- Proven ability in managing relationships with customers, insurers, and key stakeholders.
The Offer:
- 25 hours per week with a salary of £23k plus opportunity to earn uncapped commission through referrals to other areas of the business.
