About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to oversee operations at our cutting-edge bus depot in South Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a skilled team dedicated to maintaining our vehicles, ensuring they are ready to cover over 12 million miles annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers to maintain and repair our bus fleet
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure vehicles are ready for service
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a site or engineering manager in a similar industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends as needed
  • Full driving license
