Machine Tool Breakdown and Maintenance Specialist

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester, is seeking a skilled Machine Tool Breakdown and Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading Machine Tool manufacturer with a strong reputation in the industry.
The RoleThe purpose of the Machine Tool Breakdown and Maintenance Engineer role is to provide expert technical support for CNC machines, ensuring they are serviced and repaired to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines
- Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues using PLC
- Working collaboratively with the team to improve processes and increase efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and servicing/repairing them
- Mechanical bias with the ability to take on electrical tasks as required
- Highly motivated, proactive, and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Flexible approach to a varied workload
