Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer at Wartens Ltd, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing industrial control systems. This includes working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software packages, and Industrial Network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure PC software for user interface and data processing functions
  • Integrate software packages using standard protocols and custom-developed scripts
  • Supervise assembly and electrical testing of solution hardware, including functional safety systems
  • Resolve hardware and software challenges as a key team member in assigned solution areas
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in control system project delivery, including design, implementation, testing, and commissioning
  • Basic understanding of electrical system drawings, including GA's, Wiring Schematics, and Termination Diagrams
  • Strong fundamental electrical knowledge and ability to interpret system drawings
  • Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar qualification
  • Experience in a structured project delivery lifecycle
