Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Primary Care

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner to join our team in Primary Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across a range of specialties.

Main Responsibilities
  • To assess and manage patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) pathologies, using advanced clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
  • To develop and implement treatment plans, including referral for diagnostics, specialist treatments, and community and secondary care services.
  • To work collaboratively with primary care partners, including General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals, to provide seamless care to patients.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services, including education and training for staff and patients.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Recognised/validated Orthopaedic musculoskeletal postgraduate training.
  • MSc in Physiotherapy.
  • Injection therapy qualification.
  • Experience of ordering and interpreting medical investigations, such as MRI, X-ray, and Blood tests.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to travel between all locations.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of effective orthopaedic and MSK practice.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to incorporate IT into daily practice.
