The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering tailored support to students aged 4-19 with diverse learning needs. A genuine passion for working with individuals with special educational requirements, coupled with strong adaptability and relationship-building skills, will be essential for success in this position.

In this role, you may be assisting young individuals facing challenges such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children or adults with special educational needs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A positive, patient demeanor
  • Strong communication skills, particularly with individuals who may have difficulties expressing themselves
