Digital Content Creator

We are seeking a highly creative and organized Digital Content Creator to join our team at Hydes Brewery. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and executing high-quality video and photo content for our corporate and individual pub social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Manage social media channels for up to 20 premium food and community pubs, plus corporate channels.
- Visit up to 20 pubs over a rotating two-week period to agree a content plan with the pub and create photo/video content on site.
- Create inspiring content plans suitable for our various pub category audiences on various channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Generate social media content that is creative and relevant to build both our corporate and employer brand, as well as enhancing our pubs' reputations, engage with our existing customers, and actively seek new audiences with the ultimate aim of driving online bookings and pub visits.
- Capture raw images and transform them into relevant and engaging photo and video content.
- Contribute with content ideas as part of the overall marketing plan to drive awareness and call to action.
- Coordinate Social Media messaging with the wider Marketing Department to ensure consistency of message, branding, and timelines.
- Build relationships with social media influencers and local content creators.
- Take ownership of scheduling with a well-balanced annual content plan across all platforms while meeting the marketing strategy.
- Monthly Social Media analysis, demonstrating a measurable ROI – such as increased web traffic, increased bookings, improved engagement.
- 1 year+ in hospitality, retail, or public relations, marketing communications for B2C.
- Copywriting and literacy skills imperative with high attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
- Previous experience in a Social Media role using various platforms, as well as scheduling platforms, and a good understanding of analytics.
- Strong food & drink photography and videography skills, including reels.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal – ability to communicate at different levels (you will work closely with site General Managers).
- Excellent administration and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Aware of local events, Northwest geography, as well as the latest industry news, challenges, and trending topics to create engaging corporate content.
- Flexible as some requirement for out of hours and weekend work may be required from time to time.
Established in 1863, Hydes Brewery is based in Manchester and has expanded to include a portfolio of nearly 50 restaurants, pubs, bars, and hotels, and continues to grow while still retaining its family feel. We have pubs across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and throughout Cheshire, including Chester and Wrexham, and some in the Wirral, near Liverpool.
