About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Advanced Nurse Specialist to join our team at Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective IPC strategies to prevent and control healthcare-associated infections
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff on IPC practices and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IPC policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless IPC practices across the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate IPC performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Person Specification

We are looking for a registered nurse with current NMC registration and a specialist qualification in IPC or a related field. You will have a recognized teaching qualification and a minimum of five years post-registration nursing experience, with at least two years recent IPC specialist nursing experience. You will also have evidence of advanced clinical skills relevant to the role and experience of report writing and policy development.
