About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Footwear Designer to join our team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mens footwear collections that meet the brand's aesthetic and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new mens footwear collections, including shoes and accessories
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and consumer insights
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements
  • Provide technical drawings for suppliers and finalize approved designs for production
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure consistency and quality across all collections

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of and passion for the Kurt Geiger brand and customer
  • Excellent drawing skills and practical knowledge of shoe design
  • Ability to produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently
  • Engaged and enthusiastic about the fashion industry with strong knowledge of luxury and high street trends
  • Ability to produce original, creative, and brand-appropriate ideas based on upcoming trends
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge to deliver accurate samples
  • Ability to work without supervision but be part of a team
