About the Role

Kurt Geiger is a leading luxury footwear and accessories brand seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Footwear Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality men's footwear collections that meet the brand's luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new men's footwear collections that align with the brand's luxury aesthetic and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions.
  • Provide technical drawings and specifications for suppliers and ensure timely delivery of approved designs for production.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop and refine designs, and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Present designs to the design team and stakeholders, and communicate design concepts and ideas effectively.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing men's footwear for a luxury brand, with a strong understanding of the luxury market and customer expectations.
  • Excellent drawing skills and ability to create high-quality technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, materials, and technologies, and ability to apply this knowledge to design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
