T2M Resourcing is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist for a leading international manufacturing organization. This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional development and career progression.

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a crucial role within the finance department, concentrating on various financial functions including month-end closing activities, payroll management, Gross Margin assessments, balance sheet reconciliations, audit and tax evaluations, as well as statutory reporting.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the team with budgeting and forecasting, particularly regarding SG&A expenditures, while identifying financial opportunities and potential risks.

This position requires collaboration across multiple UK locations, necessitating travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing monthly manual journal entries.
  • Aiding in balance sheet reconciliations and end-of-period processing.
  • Contributing to Gross Margin and SG&A analysis with variance justifications.
  • Acting as a financial liaison for department leaders and overseeing their cost center performance.
  • Recognizing financial opportunities and risks.
  • Supporting budget and forecast development.

Processes & Controls:

  • Engaging in monthly consolidation and addressing intercompany discrepancies.
  • Assisting in external audit procedures to meet timelines.
  • Overseeing the IFRS16 module.
  • Completing statistical submissions and monthly VAT filings.

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Ideally a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
  • Experience in manufacturing in a similar role is preferred.
  • Background in a dynamic, business-focused environment.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to act as a trusted business partner to finance and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
