Job Summary:
Cpl Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to define high-quality test specifications against our requirements.
- Design and implement automated test solutions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Perform exploratory testing and implement manual test plans to identify and report defects.
- Test execution, results analysis, and report generation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
- Work on embedded platforms and Windows-based applications to ensure comprehensive testing.
Requirements:
- A degree-level qualification in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
- ISTQB Foundation level certification.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to understand and assess complex systems comprising both software and hardware.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background in embedded systems and Windows application testing.
- Advantageous:
- Experience with medical devices or in an equivalent regulated industry.
- Experience of products for life-sciences research and the underlying biological processes.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Coding experience with C# or C++.
