Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineering Construction Lead to oversee HVAC construction operations, ensuring the effective execution of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Contract Engineering Lead functions related to HVAC construction, including drafting technical specifications for installation activities.
- Address Technical Queries and promptly resolve construction Open Points.
- Coordinate responses to Exemption Requests and liaise with Front Office teams regarding Field Change Requests and Non-Conformances.
- Assist construction Project Managers in setting Key Performance Indicators to report on site progress.
- Provide proactive technical guidance to facilitate smooth construction activities without interruptions.
- Ensure the integration of post-construction requirements into the construction timeline, such as reviewing and accepting Commissioning Test Packs.
- Oversee engineering activities, identifying and implementing process enhancements, including the redlining process on-site.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
- A meticulous and thorough approach to engineering, achieving high professional standards.
- Capability to deliver engineering solutions safely, on time, and within budget in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills, empowering team members and coordinating efficient project delivery.
- Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders effectively.
- Capacity to work independently while being aware of personal limitations.
- Familiarity with contractual and commercial frameworks.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status with a recognized engineering institution.
- In-depth understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR construction.
- Proficiency in the French language is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
