About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development Professional to join our team at eCapital Commercial Finance UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate data, communicating with stakeholders, and assisting with the management of Bad Debt Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate data within our main databases, including Dancerace, EBonded, and other spreadsheets.
  • Communicate with relationship managers and business development managers in our offices and with external insurers.
  • Accurately charge protection and additional services.
  • Collate information on overdue invoices and report to our insurers.
  • Gather information from various sources to enable management reports to be generated.
  • Assist with the reporting of data to our insurers.
  • Assist with the management of claims.
  • Answer simple queries from colleagues.
  • Assist with the preparation of new business enquiries, limits, and pricing.
  • Deliver training to new starters on eCapital's systems and processes.
  • Deputise for the BDP Manager when required.

Requirements
  • GCSEs at grade A – C/9-4 in English Language and/or Mathematics.
  • Business Studies or ICT at GCSE or higher would be preferred but not essential.
  • Any experience of dealing with the public or customers would be preferred.
  • Previous experience in the banking or finance industry would be useful but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK, regretfully, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
