About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Capita Health Assessment Advisory Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting assessments and providing expert advice to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in making informed decisions about individuals' health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of individuals' health conditions and disabilities
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to support the DWP in making informed decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and DWP staff
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in healthcare
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality outcomes
Requirements
  • 1 year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other)
  • Excellent observational and communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office

  • A competitive salary of £38,500 (pro rata for part-time) plus up to 5% training bonus
