System Sales Engineer

Lutron Electronics, a leading manufacturer of lighting controls, is seeking a skilled System Sales Engineer to drive business growth and boost sales in the UK. This role requires collaboration with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for expanding our automated window treatment business.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Manchester/Birmingham area and will cover the Northern region of the UK, working closely with dealers and installers to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver in-person and virtual training content to dealers, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively sell and install our products.
- Provide technical support to dealers, answering complex application questions and escalating issues to engineering as needed.
- Manage training kit inventory and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of training materials to attendees.
- Oversee dealer performance, providing on-site supervision and support to help them build confidence in selling and installing our products.
- Develop and produce high-quality video content for online training and qualification, showcasing our products and features.
- Manage in-person training equipment and logistics, ensuring seamless execution of training sessions.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, with a minimum of 3 years of field experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in window treatments.
- Sales and Design Passion: Strong enthusiasm for sales and a keen interest in collaborating with the design community, dealers, and installers.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for in-person trainings and trade shows.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
