Position Overview
As a Lead Java Microservices Engineer within the NGX Core Development Team, you will be responsible for the planning, design, debugging, and coding of software solutions utilizing Spring Boot Webflux Microservices. Your role will involve developing Java-based applications, crafting efficient and reusable code, and ensuring that the software aligns with specified requirements. You will also provide technical assistance, troubleshoot challenges, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to produce high-quality software. Furthermore, you will play a key role in establishing standards and processes for junior engineers while effectively addressing client needs.
Key Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java development
  • Extensive knowledge of Microservices architecture
  • Proficient in Spring Boot Webflux
  • Strong understanding of Java, Java EE, Functional Programming, Non-blocking programming, and Reactor APIs
  • Solid experience in Web Development using React JS & Node JS
  • Comprehensive understanding of Redis Database
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2
  • Knowledge of hardware and operating systems, particularly Unix-based systems
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and application servers
  • Proficient in deployment automation using Ansible
