About the Role
The Assistant Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and the Building Improvement Programme (BIP) Team to oversee new initiatives from conception to completion. Our focus is on enhancing the quality of our properties to ensure we maintain a leading position in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of designated refurbishment projects.
- Organize and facilitate site meetings and discussions throughout the project lifecycle, engaging with construction professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee daily operations on assigned projects, including stakeholder communication, site inspections, quality assurance, and project sign-off.
- Monitor all project timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Operations Teams to guarantee projects meet the required standards.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships; communicate and work closely with internal Operational and Property teams.
- Ensure adherence to all quality and health and safety regulations.
- Work in partnership with the Capital Projects Team to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Provide regular updates as directed by the Project Manager.
- Support budget delivery as outlined for each project in collaboration with the Commercial Team.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in Project Management.
- Management experience in property or estates management.
- Experience managing projects within budget constraints.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Confidence in supporting and engaging with senior management.
- Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to change and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced refurbishment environment.
- Experience in budget management.
Working Model
We operate on a hybrid working model, with 2 to 3 days in our office.
