Secondary School Teacher Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join our team in Merthyr Tydfil Local Education Authority. As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles and subject specialisms, with full and part-time positions available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a classroom of learners, delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons and plan schemes of work where required
  • Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
  • Work following the school's behavior management policies
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council)
  • References covering the last two years
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
