Position Overview

Major Recruitment Aberdeen is currently in search of two Lead Procurement Specialists to support the deployment and enhancement of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • ERP System Implementation: Collaborate in the rollout of a new ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration.
  • Supplier Engagement: Identify and communicate with manufacturers and suppliers to compile a comprehensive list of all subcomponents necessary for the creation of a spare parts catalogue.
  • Data Management: Ensure that all pertinent fields required for the ERP system are accurately filled out by the respective manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Data Extraction: Retrieve existing ERP data and prepare it for loading into the new system.
  • Inventory Assessment: Assist in conducting stock evaluations for internal warehouse locations as well as inventory held at supplier sites.
  • Data Cleansing: Perform a thorough cleansing of purchasing data within the current ERP system, including open and aged purchase orders and requisitions.
