About the Role

Coventry Building Society is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to support our investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering month-end activities, supporting the financial planning process, managing day-to-day operations, reporting, and tracking and monitoring forecast.

The Financial Planning Specialist will also provide financial modeling for both routine and ad-hoc activities, supporting the Society's investment spend. This will involve assisting project accounting deliverables and ensuring robust and transparent reporting that supports both Finance and the Investment portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing month-end, yearly budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting processes. They will have demonstrable knowledge of financial modeling and strong analytical and Excel skills.

About You

  • Experience in financial management or financial processing function
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial modeling
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, financial and non-financial, from a wide range of sources
  • Ability to interpret and report results in various formats to different audiences
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
