Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, your primary focus will be on the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new product introductions. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Provide design for manufacturability insights during the product development phase.
  • Facilitate process development and implementation initiatives.
  • Draft specifications for new machinery, oversee procurement, and ensure proper installation and personnel training.
  • Assist in engineering change management activities.
  • Configure CNC machinery and saws for new product lines; troubleshoot CNC operations utilizing root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish new production lines, ensuring compliance with project specifications and production requirements.
  • Enhance facility layouts, production workflows, machine operations, and overall network efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (HND, HNC, etc.).

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or familiarity with machining processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and program machinery.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems or a willingness to learn with provided training.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and creating models.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles or process improvement initiatives.
