Job Opportunity: Educational Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in East London.

About the Role:

As an Educational Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and tailored learning activities, providing direct support to students with their academic, social, and emotional needs. You will also assist with classroom management, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and provide personal care support when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, promoting independence and confidence
  • Assist with the use of specialized resources and assistive technology to enhance learning
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions on student progress
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an SEN or educational setting is preferred, but passion and dedication are equally important
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, creativity, and flexibility in supporting a diverse group of learners
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and provide personalized support for students with varying needs
