Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Culina Group. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve productivity and service KPIs
  • Ensure the highest possible levels of health, safety, and hygiene are upheld
  • Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure quick and damage-free receipt of goods
  • Develop team members to maximize their contributions to the warehouse
  • Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations
  • Monitor and control sickness absence levels and time and attendance
  • Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers
  • Enforce and adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control training for teams

Requirements:

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel
  • Confident at dealing with people at all levels
  • Adaptable and methodical approach to work/training/working hours
  • Conscientious and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Effectively prioritize workload to meet set deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
