About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at New City College. As a key member of our estates and facilities team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of hard and soft FM services at our Ardleigh Green Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational delivery of hard and soft FM services, including cleaning, catering, and security contracts.
  • Support the Group Director Estates in providing effective health, safety, energy, and environmental management systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Manage campus space, optimizing the learning environment, utilizing teaching and non-teaching accommodation, and managing moves and relocations.
  • Support the Group Health & Safety Manager in leading on estates health and safety matters for the campus.
  • Line manage and develop the team.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in the management of all aspects of hard and soft facilities services and health & safety.
  • Ability to lead a high-quality team in delivering exceptional value and customer service to the college community.
  • Substantial experience in building and building services engineering, management of BMS systems, compliance, change and contract management, and the development and delivery of capital programmes on time and to budget.
