About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customs Compliance Manager to join our Tax and Treasury Team at the Senior Care Authority of Inland Empire, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing risk associated with customs obligations and minimizing compliance costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of our overall governance framework for all customs-related issues.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and liaise with key customs operational stakeholders to manage, investigate, and respond to customs-related matters.
  • Provide technical support and advice to our International Team on various projects, including IT systems, customs declarations, and trade agreements.
  • Determine customs treatment of new products and income streams and ensure accurate classification within our financial accounting systems.

About You

To excel in this role, you will possess and be able to evidence the following skills and experience:

  • Strong technical customs ability with a focus on compliance and controls.
  • Ability to effectively contribute to negotiations with tax authorities and other lobbying groups on complex issues.
  • IT literacy with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably SAP.
