Regional Facilities Manager Job Description

Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company strategy is executed through property maintenance, internal governance, and adherence to legislation.
  • Manage relationships with regional contractors and internal maintenance teams for planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks.
  • Liaise with tenants to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage repairs and ordering systems, following our operating and finance procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our portfolio.
  • Manage maintenance reporting, ordering, and invoicing procedures.
  • Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning for allocated properties.
  • Manage a small team, including holiday, sickness, performance, and payroll management.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Previous project management or property management experience.
  • Professional and refined negotiation skills with sound commercial acumen and judgment.
  • Motivated and results-driven.
  • Highly organized with a pragmatic and analytical approach and an eye for detail.
  • A team player who can work independently and take initiative.
  • A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • An excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Salary of £35,000-£38,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
