Job Title: FE Teacher - SEND

We are seeking a qualified FE Teacher with experience in SEND to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to young people with physical and learning disabilities, aged 19 to 25 years, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the individual needs of SEND students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods and resources as required.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Lead and manage a team of SEND Teaching Assistants.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience of working with SEND young people in education.
  • Qualified in FE teaching to Level 5 or above, or qualified by experience.
  • QTS eligible to apply as is Cert Ed, DTTLS etc.
  • Have or be willing to complete a L5 FE Teaching Qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for supporting students to achieve their goals.
