About the Role

Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) is seeking a highly skilled Charterer to join our team. As a Charterer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our annual shipping strategy, ensuring successful chartering plans, and negotiating shipping deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Shipping Strategy: Work closely with traders, operations, and chartering manager to develop an annual shipping strategy and ensure successful chartering plans.
  • Chartering and Negotiation: Conduct out chartering of TC and space on COA/SPOT vessels, negotiate, decide, and validate shipping deals, and finalize charter terms.
  • Transaction Management: Input transaction details into the current system, ensure accuracy of terms, and follow up on freight payment with the Settlement team.
  • Market Intelligence: Interact with ship owners, brokers, and other parties to obtain intelligence and develop a forward view of the shipping market.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with traders, operation's schedulers, Finance team, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of chartering plans.
