Job Title: Chemical Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Safety Manager to join our team at Public Sewer Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Occupational Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and ensure that any identified issues are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspection registers, and safety reports, and produce relevant SHEQ statistics.
  • Liaise with enforcing agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Support accident/incident management and investigation processes, and communicate lessons learned to the team.
  • Audit compliance with Company policies, procedures, and legislation to maintain ISO accreditation.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma (desirable) or NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Management (essential).
  • Ability to provide training and support to team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
