Job Summary:

Harris Commercial Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales efforts and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support and product information to customers, helping them select the appropriate products based on their specific needs and applications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their requirements, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Order Processing: Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as engineering, production, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met and orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Lead Generation and Follow-Up: Identify potential sales opportunities through research, inbound inquiries, and follow-up on leads provided by the field sales team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an internal sales role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with selling within the industrial sector or a similar product range is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a results-oriented mindset.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
  • Career Development. The next step would be an external sales engineer where you would be out and about visiting customers onsite.
  • Work-Life Balance: Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
