Hours:
8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Are you dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to become part of our Autism Resource Provision Unit.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborating with the classroom teacher to prepare lessons and manage the classroom environment.
2. Providing individualized and small group assistance to students with autism to improve their learning outcomes.
3. Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
4. Implementing intervention programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
5. Supervising students during breaks and playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
6. Contributing to the creation of an engaging and inclusive learning atmosphere.
7. Assisting with administrative duties, including record-keeping and organizing classroom resources.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with autism and special educational needs is preferred.
- First Aid certification is essential, or a willingness to obtain it.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach towards students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
