About the Role

Clarity Pharma Ltd is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Accuracy Checking Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough accuracy checks on prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with legal and professional requirements.
  • Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in the dispensing process, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Assist in the training and development of pharmacy staff in best practices for dispensing and accuracy checking.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accuracy checks performed, providing valuable insights for quality improvement.
  • Liaise with Lead Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve any issues related to prescriptions, dispensing, stock management, and end-of-month checks.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Accredited Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a community or hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and motivate the team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
