Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Engaging with insurers and underwriters to foster relationships
- Providing technical guidance to clients, branches, and colleagues
- Presenting terms to clients and networks
- Reviewing, developing, and enhancing submissions
- Managing client relationships, both direct and through networks
- Conducting client meetings
- Offering benchmarking and placement advice
- Administering and placing Global risks
- Assisting in the production and delivery of tenders
- Supporting the development goals and daily operations of the UK Marine Team
The UK Marine Broking team comprises a group of skilled Placing Brokers collaborating with Marine Client Managers. Each member brings unique strengths in various aspects of Marine Insurance, and we are seeking an individual to further enhance our collective capabilities.
The clientele we serve primarily consists of UK-based clients, including Global placements and EU placements through Aon Belgium BV secondees. Our team enjoys a strong support system and effective communication.
Qualifications for Success
- In-depth knowledge of the Marine Insurance sector
- Proven experience in managing client relationships
- Solid understanding of insurance market dynamics
- Ability to leverage skills for exceptional client service
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Thorough comprehension and application of compliance and FCA regulations
