We are a leading economic consulting firm that specializes in providing expert advice on matters of competition policy and regulation. Our team of experts assists firms and their legal advisors in all types of competition proceedings, including merger control, cartel investigations, and regulatory proceedings.
Position Overview
As a Senior Economic Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected scholars, specialists, and industry experts in the world. You will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, developing complex models, and communicating sophisticated economic concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and attorneys to understand their needs and develop tailored economic solutions;
- Design and implement economic models to analyze complex data and provide insights to clients;
- Develop and present expert reports summarizing economic opinions, conclusions, and recommendations;
- Manage and supervise junior analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the integrity and accuracy of analyses;
- Collaborate with experts to provide economic testimony in judicial proceedings and regulatory hearings;
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and innovation.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong achievement in a graduate degree program (Masters or PhD) with focused study in economics or another quantitative discipline;
- Extensive experience (7-11 years) in economics consulting, preferably with a focus on competition and regulatory issues;
- Demonstrated understanding of economic concepts, competition authorities, and quantitative analysis methods;
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
- Experience managing and developing teams of junior colleagues;
- Executive client presence and interaction skills.
