McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated Supportive Care Assistant to become a vital part of our team.

About Our Development: Our community offers a beautiful environment with 68 one and two-bedroom Assisted Living apartments designed for individuals over 70.

Compensation: Competitive pay at £11.58 per hour.

Role Overview: As a Supportive Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional individual care to our residents, helping them enjoy their later years. You will assist with domestic tasks across the estate, including cleaning apartments. Your duties will vary, encompassing support for residents in engaging with various activities that promote their health and well-being. You will also aid in scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and, when necessary, accompany residents on outings and assist with shopping.

Candidate Profile:

  • A warm and friendly demeanor, ideally with experience in a care or support role.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and happiness of older adults, with a preference for teamwork in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • A desire to work within the Health and Social Care sector, preferably holding a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, though other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered.
