Atomic Practice Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an independent Firm, specialising in the Media & Entertainment space, to recruit a Junior Accountant/Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will support the team working on a range of clients within the media and entertainment space, including:

  • Cash flow analysis and management.
  • Raising sales invoices and credit control.
  • Inputting purchase and sales invoices onto accounting systems.
  • Preparing monthly cash flows and journal entries.
  • Liaising with high profile clients and high net worth individuals.
  • Managing commission calculations and expense analysis.
  • Preparing bank and credit card account applications.
  • Preparing VAT returns for multiple clients.
  • Preparing accounts to trial balance, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Royalty statement analysis and tour accounting for UK and Worldwide tours.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in a similar role. They will be able to work accurately and efficiently, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
