About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team at JERA Nex. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial accounting activities of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check invoices and register payments on online banking systems
  • Prepare invoices and confirm receipt of payments
  • Book treasurer's ledger and input data into JERA HQ consolidated financial report system
  • Organize accounting-related documents and prepare documents required for audit and other purposes
  • Coordinate organizing subsidiaries' shareholders' meetings and board of directors meetings
  • Perform other general administrative duties as assigned by the manager
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • AAT or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified status
  • Advanced level user of MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Strong social and communicative skills, with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to express themselves in Japanese (desirable)
