About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality personal, social, and emotional care to clients in a day care setting.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care and support to clients, including personal care, social activities, and emotional support.
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Encouraging clients to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborating with senior staff to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Monitoring clients' health and safety, and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Care.
  • LDAF Induction.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with Learning Disabilities or in older people's services.
