SEN Case Officer

Novax Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a SEN Case Officer to support the CSF Special Educational Needs Team in Camden. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in carrying out statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with parents and professionals to provide timely advice on statutory assessments of individual children and young people undergoing assessment.
  • Ensure Assessment Co-ordinators, Planning and Placement Officers, and other professionals are aware of deadlines and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible records, reports, and correspondence relating to EHC needs assessments using agreed information management systems.
  • Support the team in fulfilling its role in carrying out statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN).
