Job Details

Mount Charles Area Resource Base (ARB) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex and multiple learning needs or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with complex and multiple learning needs or disabilities
  • Work alongside the class teacher and teaching team to deliver high-quality education
  • Follow recommendations and guidance from multi-agency teams
  • Manage emotional or behavioural difficulties

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years' relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding children
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and be self-motivated
