Job Title: Complex Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Harrogate and Leeds. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to a 25-year-old male with complex needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, communication and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist with domestic care tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as epilepsy awareness, moving and handling, and first aid.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individual.
Requirements:
  • Current full driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Experience in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs, including epilepsy and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including waking nights and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
