Electromagnetics Engineer

Join a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company as an Electromagnetics Engineer and contribute to the growth and development of their Microwave Materials business.

About the Role

This permanent position is based in Towcester and offers a competitive salary of circa £48,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside a team to maintain and build upon the Electromagnetic test & measurement capability within the Microwave Materials business.
  • Collaborate with other ATS specialists to provide expertise and support to key programmes.
  • Develop direct customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure effective project delivery and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific / engineering discipline with proven experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microwave Electronics or electromagnetic theory and principles.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation, including antenna design, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with recognised industry standards and techniques for Microwave measurement.
  • Knowledge or experience of Python and/or C# programming.
  • Knowledge or experience of Product development and the product development lifecycle.
