Electromagnetics Engineer Role

As an Electromagnetics Engineer at Advanced Resource Managers, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents like yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to all aspects of the Microwave Materials business
  2. Be part of a team that maintains and builds upon the Electromagnetic test & measurement capability within the Microwave Materials business, in line with strategic requirements
  3. Collaborate with other ATS specialists to provide expertise and support to key programmes
  4. Develop direct customer and stakeholder relationships to assist in ensuring effective project delivery and identifying new business opportunities in line with the ATS business strategy

Requirements:

  1. Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline with proven experience
  2. Have an in-depth understanding of Microwave Electronics or electromagnetic theory and principles
  3. Desirable experience in electromagnetic simulation, including antenna design
  4. Familiarity with recognised industry standards and techniques for Microwave measurement, including wave guide and free space
  5. Familiarity with radar cross section theory and/or measurements would be desirable
  6. Knowledge or experience of Python and/or C# programming
  7. Knowledge or experience of Product development and the product development lifecycle
