We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge and Hall Porter to join our team at HR-CL Limited. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering all telephone calls and dealing with queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Liaising with the Secretary's office to ensure accurate and timely communication of bedroom reservations and private party bookings.
  • Assisting members and visitors with all their queries and requests, providing a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the storage and maintenance of equipment and stock.
  • Providing door security and assisting with the smooth check-in and check-out of guests, adhering to 5-star service standards.
  • Ensuring a sufficient supply of newspapers and passing on orders to the bedroom.
  • Providing cash-box services, including providing stamps, phone cards, and change as required.
  • Being aware of all security and fire aspects and acting accordingly to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and diplomacy when dealing with demanding members.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Concierge or Hall Porter in a Private Members Club or 5-star Hotel for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Stability in your career to date, with a proven track record of providing excellent service.
  • A "can-do" attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Immaculate presentation and excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner and neat handwriting.
  • Diplomatic and courteous, with the ability to work well under pressure.

  • A flexible shift pattern, including 4 x 12-hour shifts per week, with a mix of daytime and night-time shifts.
