Accounting Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and undertake audits and accounts work, both in-house and at client locations
  • Review work and assist in the training of trainees
  • Work closely with Wellers Managers and Partners

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a generalist accountancy practice managing a portfolio of clients varying in both size and sector
  • ACCA or ICAEW qualified
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamental principles underpinning bookkeeping, accounts, audit, and tax
  • Good current compliance knowledge
  • Proficient in accountancy and office software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel etc.)
