About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Silicon Logical Designer to join our logical design team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality microarchitecture and RTL design for our Graphcore chips. Your expertise will help us meet our company objectives for silicon delivery and contribute to the development of our next-generation AI compute systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality microarchitecture and RTL for Graphcore chips
  • Collaborate with other engineers within the Silicon department to ensure successful silicon delivery
  • Contribute to shared design infrastructure and flows
  • Use EDA tools and the Graphcore design flow to design cutting-edge technologies
  • Provide feedback to Physical Design, Verification, and DFT teams
Requirements
  • Logical design experience in the relevant industry
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
  • Ability to program, required to solve design issues (e.g., Python, Tcl)
  • Knowledge of digital design flows
  • Processor design, arithmetic pipeline design, floating-point design, design for test, timing analysis, and project planning
