Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and assistance to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist students with their learning activities, both in the classroom and in one-on-one sessions.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinator to implement individualized education plans and support strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with autism.
