The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join our team of support staff. As a teaching assistant for SEN pupils, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing one-to-one support and bespoke timetables to engage students and promote academic progress. You will work closely with parents and carers, as well as other support agencies, to ensure the child's education is paramount.

We are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant who is highly motivated and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and be able to provide tailored support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement bespoke timetables to engage students and promote academic progress
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, as well as other support agencies

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths (A*-C) or Adult Literacy & Numeracy Level 2 equivalent
  • Relatable experience working with SEN students
  • Desirable qualifications in teaching assistant related fields
